Bach’s Art of Fugue

A ground breaking take on one of Bach’s finest masterpieces, written and directed by Bill Barclay (Concert Theatre Works). Commissioned by The Academy of Ancient Music, Bach’s Art of Fugue brings 4 actors together with period strings and winds – all led from the harpsichord by Music Director Laurence Cummings. Following an acclaimed launch in Cambridge (West Road Concert Hall) and London (Milton Court, Barbican), Avanti will be touring the project across the UK during 2027 and 2028.
